Word of the Month

  1) Go after and stay in mercy, but don't be hard and judgmental.

  -         God loves mercy (Micah 6:8)

  -         God delights in mercy       (Micah 7:18)

  -         Jesus said, "Blessed are the merciful, they shall obtain mercy." (Matt 5:7)

  -         God's mercy is new every morning. (Lam. 3:23) 

  This means God puts a wall of forgetfulness up against your yesterday every morning.   

  Receive and release His mercy today.

  2) Don't fall prey to the deceitfulness of sin. 

  Examine yourself against deceit and go   hard after truth.

  -         Don't become hard through the deceitfulness of sin.    (Heb. 3:13)

  -         Sin is deceitful because...

  -         S = Satan is at the head, the author of it.

  -         I = I, me, self is at the center of it.

  -         N = Nothing, negative and no is always at the end of it.

  -         Love righteousness. Jesus did. (Heb. 1:9)
