Since our last update, we have been all over… Kansas, Virginia, Oklahoma, Missouri. The Lord has blessed our services in a marvelous way. His blessing and favor has been our constant joy. Judy is doing better all the time, but still needs concentrated prayer for her left side. We are believing for complete mobility and restoration. Dad will be leaving for Israel this Monday morning, October 27, with Blossoming Rose. Please keep them in prayer for safety and opportunity to be a blessing.

Since our last update we have been to Wichita, Tulsa and Branson. Our time of ministry was exciting and filled with signs and wonders. We are back in Michigan now, and will be until after Campmeeting.
I am continuing to get stronger in my body everyday. My left side is starting to obey the Word. I’m enjoying interaction with friends and family. Thanks to all of you who send words of encouragement to me. Never take for granted your health and God’s blessing. Enjoy life everyday!
Thanks again for your prayers. We love you.

Mom & dad are in and around Michigan for a few weeks. We are so happy when they are able to come home and spend time with us kids and grandchildren. They are like a breath of fresh air. Last night there was a special healing service and mom sang “No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus”. Watching her sing, I was aware all over again at what a miracle she truly is. Her pitch and timing may not be the greatest, but oh the presence of the Lord that filled the room as she began to sing. The anointing, glory, and power of God sincerely is upon the both of them.
We continue to remain steadfast in our decree over mom’s total recovery. We absolutely believe God is thee Almighty and there is nothing too difficult for Him.
Jesus said unto him, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23
KEEP BELIEVING!!!

We continue to be appreciative for the prayers and steadfast faith of our friends on Judy’s behalf. Judy has a little movement in her left arm and often speaks the Word over it.
After being on the road since the beginning of the year, we are now headed home so Judy can spend Mother’s Day with her children. We will be in Michigan through the end of May.
Judy so appreciates cards and letters from you all, so if you have a spare moment and could sow a seed of encouragement, I know it would encourage her, and bear fruit. She is constantly sowing cards into people’s lives.

Mom & dad are doing well and sense an awesome presence and blessing of the Lord at their meetings. Mom is doing some singing and exhorting and the churches are celebrating her recovery. Best of all, souls are getting saved.
Yesterday mom and dad celebrated their 43rd anniversary. How awesome to have committed yourself through thick and thin… happy and sad…good and bad, for that many years.

We sure had a blessed time with our family over Christmas, and we’re anticipating a great new year. We are currently on our way down to the Southern states and already our services are exploding with God’s blessings.
Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement. Please keep us in your prayers as we endeavor to fulfill God’s will.
Have a blessed, healthy and prosperous new year.

We are so thankful that we serve an awesome God! He is all powerful and just looking for his children to take Him at His word.
We had a beautiful Thanksgiving. As we sat around the living room, each giving an account as to what God has blessed us with, we all reflected that mom’s presence was much to give thanks for. A year ago Thanksgiving, we sat in nothing more than a nursing home eating hospital food. Mom was just begininng to speak at a whisper through the trech. O how far she’s come. Everyday, the same Spirit that raised Christ, is at work in her body!
Mom & dad are currently in Tennessee enjoying an early Christmas with mom’s brothers and sisters. Dad will be ministering a couple times while down there. Mom is regaining her strength in her voice. That too, is a miracle. You see, one part of her brain that was affected basically revealed that she would never keep time or tune again.
We love you all and send out a “BIG” Merry Christmas!

” But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Matt. 24: 13
Mom is progressively doing better and better. She is walking on her own, and gaining more confidence to do so every day. Friday was her last day in therapy. The insurance is no longer paying for therapy, so dad is going to have to work with her. God has been so good and we expect continued results. Please continue to pray that her left arm regain mobility again. Nothing is impossible to them that believe, and we believe. She is able to lift that arm about 6 inches, but thus far not able to use it in everyday events.
We are so thankful for prayer warriors as yourself. God bless you.

Mom is in therapy 2-3 times a week, and the therapist says she’s doing well.
Hopefully this week will be the first time, since the stroke, that she will be getting into the motor home. Her brother-in-law developed a devise that will allow her to slide up into the motor home rather than climb the stairs. Keep beliving with us that the day comes that she will be able to conquer stairs.
A few weeks ago, she had a surprise birthday party thrown for her. She had many friends and family show up, and it was a night of joyous celebration.
Mom & dad are going out to minister a little bit more. Next weekend will be their first time out of state for ministry since the stroke. The best is yet to come!!!

We just wanted to post a quick word of testimony. Mom’s eyes are totally healed from double vision. God answers prayers! Be tenacious in prayer and faith and He will honor the prayer of faith.
She was also having problems, while reading, not being able to go all the way to the left when she dropped down to the next line. The doctor said her sence of what is center to us was way off to the right for her. Thus making it frusterating for her to read. BUT… I report to you that our wonderful Heavenly Father has healed those eyes and she is able to read perfectly now.
Thank you for agreeing with us in prayer concerning that. As you think of it, continue to believe with us that her left arm and leg be totally restored.

I’m doing good. I praise the Lord for His faithfulness and that he’s a God of His Word. Nothing outlast His blood and His Word. I have been so overwhelmed by the love and kindness of people. Your cards expressing your love have meant so much to me.
My therapy is intense. It is tough most days, but needful. I believe it’s helping me regain my strength and mobility. Today my therapist said he’s pleased with the progress I’m making.
I’m enjoying interacting with my family and the family of God once again.
Please continue to pray that my left side will be completely whole. I want to walk and lift my hands in praise again.
Thank you and I love you,

Since the last update, we had an opportunity to minister at a campmeeting near Port Huron. Wonderful things happened in the presence of the Lord. On July 4 we left for Missouri and Judy was able to make her rounds to see her 2 sisters and 2 brothers. It was tiring but very refreshing. This was her first time out of state since the stroke. She is gaining more strength all the time, but please continue to pray that the left arm and leg would continue to improve and all the pain would leave.
We are continuing to rejoice in God’s faithfulness everyday.

Mom is progressing every day. She has been going down to Saginaw 2 times a week for therapy. This week they put a devise (comparable to the arm devise) on her left leg and she took 32 steps all by herself. To God be the glory.
Last weekend mom & dad went all the way to Adrien for a Sunday meeting. This is the first time they have ventured that far away since the stroke. Mom did well and I know many lives were touched through their ministry.
May God return 100 fold all the prayers you have sown on Judy’s behalf.

Mom began her first outpatient therapy today. She has had a big day and is quite tired tonight.
The Bioness devise came in and as soon as it is programmed she will be able to use it.
Please continue to pray for her eyesight. She loves to read and hasn’t been able to do so very much due to the double vision.
There is no one like unto the Lord. We bless you in Jesus name.

Thank you to everyone who made the benefit concerts a success. They were filled with an atmosphere of adoration to our King. Mom and dad were truly blessed by the presence of all who came out in honor of mom. All of mom’s siblings came in from out of state (Missouri, Tennessee, and Kentucky) to the Bad Axe concert. The outpour of love was tangible. As a result of the concerts, dad is able to order the arm devise which will help mom with movement in her left arm.
The transition from Marlette to home (which is Carsonville, Mich. for now) has been good for mom. Thier new number is 810-622-0733.
Thank you for your continued prayers, as we believe God for ongoing healing.
With love,

Praise the Lord for faith upon faith and victory upon victory. Judy is doing so well and today I am taking her home. She is getting stronger and stronger. She is bearing her own weight, standing up and taking baby steps with a little help. Her spirits are high, however, she has kept a good, faith filled and peaceful spirit all along. The staff here at ECF Marlette is going to miss her. They are hugging her and crying as they tell her goodbye. Judy has truly left her mark and been a blessing in this place. She has impacted so many with her testimony. To God be all the glory.
Judy said to tell you that we are truly blessed. Faith doesn’t worry, it worships.
For as many as can come, we want to remind you of the upcoming benefit concert on Judy’s behalf…

To God be the glory!!! Yesterday mom stood on her feet, bearing her own weight, without the support of any aide.
We ask that you continue to pray regarding her left arm. As of now, there is still no mobility to it. The arm itself is very sensitive to anyone else moving it, but she can’t move it herself. But just as with her leg, we know God is working in her body everyday.
We love you all and are so thankful for your prayer support on mom’s behalf.

Mom has been getting out a lot more, but O how she enjoys it. They have ordered a leg brace for her left leg to help her stand. Last week or so the doctor ordered her to be re-evaluated and now they are taking her back into therapy. Thank you for all your prayers on her behalf. Continue to speak life into her left leg and arm. We believe, therefore we speak… “She will walk again.” There is life in the power of the tongue.

Mom had the feeding tube taken out yesterday. It had been in there so long it didn’t want to come out easily. We want to give all glory to the Lord for miracles that are happening. Mom has not been able to bend her left leg at all since the stroke. All she has been able to do is lift it from the hip about 6 inches. Well…. Tuesday just all of the sudden, she is now able to bend it at the knee, and for that we give all the glory to God Almighty. We are jealous for God to receive all the praise. He is at work in her body everyday!
Thank you for continuing to pray.

I’m sitting here by my mom’s bedside and she wants me to say thank you so much for all the cards, calls, and financial gifts you have sown.
Dad is making progressive steps to get mom home. We’re not sure of the time table, but it could be before Mother’s Day. She continues to gain strength, but please keep believing with us for her eyes to be restored. They were weakened by the stroke. Her tendency is to see double, which makes reading difficult.

Mom and dad are really asking for wisdom at this time as therapy just informed them that they have no intention on moving mom into full time therapy for a long time. Mom and dad both feel she is capable of more than she is doing at this time. Please pray that the Lord give them wisdom and understanding.Healing Word Ministry website links have been updated (except for the itinerary, which will be updated within the next week or so) ) for all who are interested.

Mom went to church with us again on the 25th. She is eager and anticipating each Sunday as she is now able to get out a little. She now has her own little wheelchair in which they are challenging her to exercise and do as much as she can in it. She does pretty well getting around. We are so looking forward to Easter as this will be the first family get together outside of a hospital facility. We are sooooo blessed.

How exciting to see our mom be able to attend church last Sunday. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to many of you who made that an extra special day for her. The therapy of just getting out and sitting in the presence of the Lord was wonderful for her.
We don’t always understand the process of recovery, but we know God is able to do what she can’t do for herself. Days can seem extremely long sometimes when you are restricted. We know you’re still committed to praying for her and we thank you. She knows prayer has brought her this far.
P.S. They discontinued the feeding tube today! The tube is not out, but they have discontinued her feeding through it.

Mom is so excited about getting out this Sunday to go to church. She really misses being out and about, but we’re standing firm that day is around the corner to the Glory of God. Please continue to pray for her eyes. She sees double since the stroke, which makes it hard to read, grab things, or even write. Nothing is impossible to him that believes.

Mom is doing so well. This week full time therapy has begun again. Alot of the staff says Judy is their little angel. Mom & dad are being a blessing. Sunday, they asked dad to speak at thier chapel service and dad said the presence of the Lord was so rich in that room, residence began to cry simply by sitting in the Lord’s presence. Never underestimate one moment in the presence of the King.
Dad is speaking at the home church on March 18, and he has made arrangements for mom to be in service at Faith Gospel. We are all looking forward to that. This will be her first time out for something other than being transported. Hallelujah!
Thank you for your continued prayers.

Just a quick update… mom’s potassium has come down immensely. We’re able to move her left arm and fingers with barely any pain. If you could have seen how much excruciating pain her arm endured, you would appreciate how excited we are about this victory. They are still treating the urinary tract infection. Her appetite is still not up to par, so they still have her on the feeding tube.
Thank you… thank you for praying in faith nothing waivering.

Mom is at the Marlette facility, which is a very nice place. On Tuesday the new doctor recognized that her potassium levels are critically high and she has another urinary tract infection. They are watching her closely and have put her on a low potassuim diet. They said it is very important that she get off the feeding tube as that can contribute to this problem.? She was eating so well, but since this setback hasn’t felt much like eating. Jesus is Lord over her temple, and we’re asking you to fight this fight of faith with us again. She is redeemed from the curse of the law and we trust in His faithfulness.
We are so grateful for friends and family like you.

Progress… progress… God is so good and we are so thankful for every step of developement. The pain is letting up in her arm.? The doctor diagnosed it as RSD (reflex sympothetic dystrophy). Judy is being transferred to Marlette today. This will put her closer to where our children live and this facility is more focused on therapy. Continue to pray that all the pain leaves her left side. Also, her eyesight has been ill effected thru the stroke and we ask that you focus in on this in prayer.

Praise the Lord for His continued faithfulness. Judy is gaining strength and more of an appetite each day and should be off the feeding tube soon. They still turn it on some at night until her calorie count comes up through her oral eating. They will be pulling her pic line within a couple days. She is still real shakey when they stand her up in therapy, so continue to pray for her strength and confidence. Also, please pray that the abnormal pain in her left arm will be eradicated. She tires quickly in therapy, but she’s pressing on!

We asked mom Friday what she would like us to update you on and a few things she mentioned were: Please ask everyone to pray regarding my appetite and the pain in my left arm.
Many times mom doesn’t eat much because her stomach feels upset. It may be the medication they are giving her, but whatever the case may be, help us pray that her appetite return, so she can get off the feeding tube.
Also regarding the pain in her left arm, sometimes the slightest movement can bring tears to her eyes. For whatever reason, her left arm is very sensitive. We’ve heard doctors say that is a good sign, due to the injury the brain incurred. Please set yourself in agreement with us that the healing process in her left side will manifest speedily.
The pain she was having in her neck and shoulders is gone… praise the Lord
I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. Ps 138:2

Mom is off of all antibiotics. We would really like to get her into a rehabilitation center which focuses hard on her therapy. The place we are? looking at wouldn’t even consider her until she was off all antibiotics. Dad is going to ask the facility again if they will take her. Please pray the Father’s will be done. Mom & dad want to be in the center of His will and if this different facility is best for mom’s overall therapy we need God’s favor to get in there. She still hasn’t developed a big appitite so she is on the feeding tube at night. God has brought her so far and we as a family are so thankful for God’s goodness and your continued support.

Our family was able to get together with mom on Christmas Day at the Health Source. We are praising God for every improvement we see. From Thanksgiving til now we have all noticed a remarkable difference. We wish you all could have been there to share time with her. One of the most touching moments throughout the whole day was when dad said he & mom had a surprise for us. We all sat down and dad started the tape player. Mom and him began to sing a duet together called, “I’m a child of the King.” Mom did her very best to keep up with the tempo and sing every word on key in the midst of tears. It truly was one of the most precious things I’ve ever seen in my life. All I could do is stand in awe of God’s faithfulness as I listened to the sound of praise coming from one brought from death to life.
Thank you again for all your prayers. Please agree with us that her appetite be restored as all they are giving her right now is the feeding tube by night.
We love you all,

What a mighty God we serve. Mom has been so alert all day today. Her stomach is quite sore from the gall bladder surgery, but everyone feels confident this will help get her to the next level. The surgery went well and she seemed peaceful as they wheeled her into surgery Monday morning. Tonight dad shared the sacrament of communion with her. She’s not able to eat or drink anything through her mouth yet, but he touched the elements to her lips and she received it by faith. How awesome! A few areas we are asking you to agree in prayer with us about are: 1) Quick recovery for her stomach. Agree that she will be able to adapt well to the change in her digestive system now that the gall bladder is gone. 2) Continue to pray that her lungs and diaphragm are strengthened so they can remove the ventilator. 3) Pray that the peace of God will saturate her and great faith will exude from her spirit as she is now becoming so aware of what has physically happened to her.
We love you so much and believe that not to far down the road mom will be able to write an update to you.

Faith speaks. Faith has a voice. Thank you for speaking and decreeing health and strength for our mom. We believe, therefore we speak, she will proclaim the goodness of God in the congregation of the people once again.
Please pray for her continued strength as Tuesday her doctor, Dr Shaheen, wants to take her into surgery and remove the gall bladder. Pray that the doctor’s hands will work skillfully and there will be no errors made. One thing she mentioned Friday, when they had the voice box in, was to pray for her lungs to be strong.
Again, thank you and bless you for your prayers of love and faith for our precious mom.
